Ciao from Eva

[EN] Hi everybody, I'm writing from an internet point in Townsville, on the East Coast, and I'm forwarding a post from Eva, who is writing from Melbourne. Ciao Eva!

[IT] Ciau a tutti, sto scrivendo da un internet point in Townsville, sulla Costa Est, e vi giro questo post da Eva, che sta scrivendo da Melbourne. Ciao Eva!

4am. That's how this trip started - and it wasn't even for MY flight to Uluru. Little did I know that P had organised for us to welcome the sunrise numerous times during the trip... that's what happens when you don't help organise the itinerary. The fiery glow of Uluru at sunset was better than the hot tea and cookies provided at sunrise. Taste this plant. Like honey. Taste this berry. Like sultanas. Taste this berry. It tastes like a plant. Can we please have a steak? No opportunity to spear the other in the side as accepted punishment for any injustices. Didn't kiss Mick Jagger’s massive lips either. We either naturally understand Pitjantjatjara or have active imagination of Anangu lore. At least 400m vertically down onto rocks - no footholds. P, are you sure we should keep climbing higher? Not all pins need to be in to keep the tent grounded. Gee, my backpack seems light – thanks for carrying the water. I know you want a mobile-free trip but I told them to call your mobile. You wake up first. Thanks to Nadia, Chris, Estelle and Federico for their hospitality. Miss you heaps P, hopefully one day we’ll travel another part of the world together. E
